Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction

National Addictions Awareness Week (NAAW) highlights solutions to help address harms related to alcohol and other drugs. It provides an opportunity for Canadians to learn more about prevention, to talk about treatment and recovery, and to bring forward solutions for change.

This year, National Addictions Awareness Week is from November 21 to 27. It will happen in conjunction with CCSA’s Issues of Substance 2021 conference. The conference runs as three-half days from November 23 to 25 and will be a virtual experience with lots of new features for the exciting new format!

CCSA is busy planning for National Addictions Awareness Week 2021. Additional details, including the theme, will be announced later this summer.
