Accessing Resources for Alcohol, Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral and Treatment

In August 2018, the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) and the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA) archived the online Alcohol Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral (SBIR) resources. The SBIR tool has not been updated from the DSM IV to the DSM-5.

The CFPC and CCSA continue to work closely together, and in collaboration with other key partners as part of a broader strategy to address screening and interventions about alcohol use.
